Disney Announces Tron: Uprising Soundtrack Original score by composer Joseph Trapanese available later next week.

Walt Disney Records will soon release the soundtrack for Tron: Uprising, the Disney XD animated series based on the studio's popular franchise. The album will only be made available in the digital format on January 8.

According to the press release, the soundtrack features the original score from the series' composer Joseph Trapanese, as well as remixes from 3OH!3, Opiuo, David Hiller, and a brand new track from Hollywood Records' rising EDM star, 16-year-old Cole Plante, entitled "Rezolution."

"The artistic and creative directors of the series worked closely with the writers of the film to create a firm connection to the film while being its own unique, distinct world," said Trapanese. "That's where this process was most rewarding, the ability to start with a framework of cool sounds, ideas, and textures, but then take it to the new places that the series went."

Trapanese worked alongside Daft Punk on the score for Tron: Legacy. In fact, it was Daft Punk who recommended Trapanese as the composer for Disney's animated show.

The Tron: Uprising soundtrack is now available for pre-order.
