Ben Affleck, U.S. Senator? The Man Without Fear addresses rumors of his political ambitions.

He's an Oscar-winning actor, director, and writer. He played a Marvel superhero, and he was once in a celebrity romance high-profile enough to coin a tabloid nickname for it. He also so happens to be a pretty smart guy and a political activist. So could Ben Affleck really be poised to throw his hat into the political ring and run for the soon-to be-vacant Senate seat in his home state of Massachusetts?

Rumors of a possible Affleck candidacy have been swirling for days now ever since President Obama named Massachusetts senator John Kerry as his pick to be the next Secretary of State. Here's what Affleck had to say today about the rumors on CBS' Face The Nation:
