Looper Available on Blu-ray Before 2013 The Bruce Willis/Joseph Gordon-Levitt sci-fi thriller heads to Blu-ray, with a whopping 22 deleted scenes, in time to ring in the new year.

Looper, Rian Johnson's thrilling and imaginative sci-fi flick, will be available on Blu-ray and DVD with UltraViolet, on December 31st.

This critically-acclaimed brain-twister, about a hitman (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) trying to thwart his future self (Bruce Willis) from altering their shared history, will now include 22 (!) deleted scenes as well as dozens of mind-blowing bonus features.

Among the extras are an optional commentary track by director Rian Johnson and Noah Segan (who plays Kid Blue), and two featurettes: “Looper: From the Beginning” provides a look into the making of the film and “Scoring Looper” is a three-segment featurette with composer Nathan Johnson discussing the the process behind creating an original score for such a unique film. Also included is an animated version of the theatrical trailer. Exclusive to the Blu-ray is the featurette “The Science of Time Travel,” which looks at the possibilities of time travel and the rules of the Looper universe.
